Privacy by design
Your logbook stays local
The current Nautical Logbook implementation stores log entries and settings locally on your iPhone. It does not require a Nautical Logbook account and does not use a Nubisor cloud backend for your logbook data.
The app does not include advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. Location is used for logbook and map functions only when you allow iOS location access.
Map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap/OpenSeaMap services, so those third-party services may receive normal network information such as your IP address when maps are displayed. See the Privacy Policy for details.
